Scott B. Tittle
The Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) Board of Directors has selected Scott B. Tittle, J.D., to serve as president of the association. The hiring of Tittle, effective Nov. 25, 2024, follows a nationwide search to recruit a new president to lead the trade association that represents more than 170 hospitals throughout the state.
Tittle was previously managing director for VIUM Capital, an Ohio-based financial services firm that specializes in long term care and senior housing lending, where he led government relations and external affairs.
Prior to joining VIUM, Tittle was executive director of the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) in Washington, D.C. and president of the Indiana Health Care Association/Indiana Center for Assisted Living (IHCA/INCAL) in Indianapolis where he guided skilled nursing facilities and assisted living operators with their regulatory, reimbursement, and advocacy needs at the federal and state levels. While leading IHCA/INCAL, he helped enact an innovative value-based Medicaid reimbursement program for skilled nursing facilities focused on key quality outcomes.
Earlier in his career, Tittle worked as a health care attorney with the law firm Krieg DeVault LLP, and served as Special Counsel and Health Policy Director to Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. It was under Gov. Daniels's administration that Tittle successfully helped advocate for a cigarette tax increase that funded the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP).
Tittle earned his law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and his bachelor's degree in English and political science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
